Mr. Albert Zhong - General Manager
Albert Zhong is the General Manager of China Travel Management Services Co., Ltd. a joint
venture between China Air Service (CAS) and CWT. He oversees CWT China JV businesses and the
co-operations with a partner network covering 40 major Chinese cities.
Albert has 5 year overseas working experience when he was transferred to work in Hongkong as
a business development manager in CAS Hongkong branch office during 1990-1995.
Before his appoint ment as General Manager of CWT China, Albert was the manager of passenger
sales in CAS head-office in Beijing from 1996 till 2002. He spent five very successful years in CAS
leading sales and customer services and has established a strong relationship with both domestic
and international airlines.
Under his leadership, CAS established a dedicated team servicing corporate clients in 1997 by
partnering with CWT. This team contributed significantly to the growth of corporate business in
CAS, which has become the core business of CAS/CWT China JV in 2003.
Whilst working with CWT, Albert has gained wide experience and knowledge in the business
travel management industry.
Mr. Wu Kejian - Director, Account Management
Appointed as the branch manager of the joint venture between China Air Service and Carlson
Wagonlit Travel in Shanghai in March 2004, Mr. Wu has the responsibility for overseeing operations
in the region and reporting all the sales and marketing activities to Albert Zhong, the country
manager.
Before he entered this travel sector, Mr. Wu spent over 10 years service with telecom, IT and
consultancy. Joined Siemens Limited China in 1993 as division manager for mobile system, he
achieved great success in the aspect of business development, sales and cooperation management, led
the mobile business become the core unit within Siemens China. In year 2000, he was transferred to
the joint venture between Siemens and China International Trust & Investment Corp. (CITIC) as
senior manager for business development and high-level relation co-ordination with big clients.
Many years of working experience with multinational company crossing different business
sectors, Mr. Wu has built substantial experience in sales & marketing, customer relationship
and operation management.
Graduated from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics majored in electronics
engineering in 1991, he began his career with a research institute of the Ministry of Information
& Industry, PRC.
Mr. James Wen - Director, National Sales
James Wen, appointed as the branch manager of CWT Guangzhou office in Jan 2006, is
responsible for overseeing all of CWT Guangzhou Branch's operations including the branch
company's overall management, client and supplier relationships, sales & marketing. In this
role, he reports directly to Albert Zhong, General Manager of Carlson Wagonlit Travel
China.
Before joining CWT, James Wen has been in the travel industry since 1990 till the most
recent where
- He has developed himself from an English tour guide into sales manager, assistant general manager, general manager of business travel department as well as marketing department.
- He has overseen the staff training, product development as well as overall financial performance.
- He has managed 25 chain stores, a VIP account sales team of 10 people, a call center of 15 people, online information and booking center of 6 people
- He has managed a business travel department of 70 people, in which 30 people are for ticketing and hotel booking, 10 people for account management, 30 for MICE business
- He has established good relationship with airlines, hotel suppliers as well as some local corporate accounts.
- He has identified the corporate travel management being his primary interest.
